Ever wished you could make your own fresh, homemade cheese? Come watch the magic happen. Join the Basilwood Cheesemaking Team for a fun, informative cheese demonstration where you’ll see how Chèvre, mozzarella, and ricotta are made during this approximately 3-hour experience. While this is primarily a demo-style class, everyone gets a turn helping stretch the mozzarella — because that part is just too fun to miss. We host several Artisan Pop-Ups at the farm each year — the perfect excuse to come get your goat fix, soak up the farm vibes, and shop an incredible lineup of handpicked local makers. Mark your calendars for our 2026 dates… March 14th, June 13th, September 19th & December 5th! 10 am – 3 pm. All of these events are FREE to the public & family friendly. Want to learn to felt soap? We call them Woolies around here, or soaps with sweaters! Come to one of our Woolie-making workshops and you will leave with your own masterpiece. Ever wanted to milk a goat? Wellll... here's your chance. Our girl, Shelby, will teach you how to hand milk, learn some basic home dairy skills and have a great time while doing it! If you have goats or not, this will help build your confidence before launching into the next phase of your homesteading journey.  Allow at least 2 hours for this workshop. Extra time for shopping or just hanging out afterward. Actual time may vary.
